Kimmo Timonen is a Finnish artist, living in an old farm house surrounded by forests and lakes. Kimmo is painting.He challenges the painting by molesting it, he appeases it, tries to make it collaborate. He takes the painting to have a swim, to a campfire, to the nature. He paints the painting and himself with the same clay. He uses leaves of plants, kitchen paper, beetroot and oil paints.The film depicts the process of painting. It is not burdened by explanations, interviews, talking heads or voice over. It is about the work itself. The process is followed closely and intensively. Painting, nature and the film itself merge together making a unified whole.
